The SRCC certification is issued by the Solar Rating & Certification Cooperation™; this certification is a basic requirement to participate in a wide range of incentive programmes in the USA.

The principles that guide the SRCC certification are as follows:

• Testing in accordance with the relevant SRCC standard
  SRCC Standard OG 100 for collectors 
• Sampling
  Collectors and systems submitted for certification are taken from the manufacturer’s warehouse by an independent test laboratory.

The measured data allow the calculation of typical yields that are later published together with SRCC collector data on their homepage (Solar Rating).
